It was a great day to be outside today!  Our sledding hill has been icy all week, so we can sled down on just our butts or bellys!  Too much fun :)

I am happy to announce our first 4 kids to become Zoo Keeper!  Congrats to Aurora, Lilly, Tanner & Neiken for knowing all of the ZooPhonics animal names and sounds.  We have several kids who are very close, so keep working at it home, and we will keep practicing at school too!

We are really having fun with our star student each day!  Next week we will finish up through the class list.  It has been very hard for some to wait soooo long until it is their turn (asking everyday :)), but they are excited to get to share show and tell and their star student page.  We have learned some interesting things about each other!

Today we built with marshmallows and toothpicks!

Perhaps you are wondering why your child came home with styrofoam in his or her hair!  Today we started our building week with styrofoam and 2 big boxes. We had lots of fun, and made a big mess.  Better in my classroom then in your home :)

You should ask your preschooler about Pete the Cat!  It's our new favorite story.  Click below on the book to go to the website to play the song/narration (Click on "I Love My White Shoes").  We also made Pete the Cats... super cute!

Hope your preschooler is enjoying his or her day off of school!  Just a reminder that tomorrow is our Ice Skating Field Trip :)  Please remember to send your child with snow pants, hats/gloves. For those chaperoning, there will be room on the bus for some of you to ride with us.  Otherwise please meet at the school at 8:45am and follow the bus to the ice arena!  Thanks!

Thank you to all the dads, grandpas, uncles, cousins, etc. that came to school today to do some fun activities with our kids.  We made paper donuts, ate donuts, played a memory game, and had fun in the gym!

Thanks to Neiken and his family we have a new train play set! We had lots of fun putting it together today :)
