Today we explored pumpkins! We got our hands slimy in pumpkin guts, counted pumpkin seeds, made a pumpkin seed counting book, and hammered nails into pumpkins!!!
Mr. Ghost visited today... make sure you ask your preschooler about all the cool things he brought! We played with glurch, shaving cream and made ghost poems!
We had some really hard working cooks today. They helped peel and cut apples for our applesauce. It sure smells good... hopefully it tastes good too! You'll have to ask your preschooler :)
Today we wore our favorite colors and had a color party. We did a lot of color sorting and played color bingo too! Later this afternoon we are going to have some fun with color balloons in the gym!
Our schedule was a little mixed up today because of the half day, but we still managed to fit in choice time! Emma picked the picture for the website today :)
Today we were visited by the Austin Township fire fighters. We learned all about fire safety and to "Stop, Drop & Roll." Look for a surprise in your child's folder from the fire fighters!
Today we read the book "A Color of His Own" by Leo Lionni. We also had the book on tape out at choice time :)
We have been learning about a new color each day, and practicing our coloring skills. On RED day, we colored on our bellies (building our core strength).
Had a great day at the corn maze today!!! Thank you to all of the parents who were able to make it out and help us get through the maze!
